Taylor Kearns of Fargo was crowned 2010 Miss North Dakota USA and Ariana Walker of Bismarck was named Miss North Dakota Teen USA at pageants held Saturday night in Festival Concert Hall at North Dakota State University in Fargo.
The 24-year-old Kearns, a junior at NDSU, is majoring in marketing. She is the daughter of Marcy Kearns, Fargo, and Scott Rose, Stillwater, Minn.
Walker, 18, is a freshman majoring in physical therapy at the University of Mary in Bismarck. She is the daughter of Renae and Dwayne Walker, Bismarck.
Miss North Dakota USA finalists were: Stephanie Haremza, 19, Fargo, first runner-up; Lena Chastain, 21, Fargo, second runner-up; Nadine Aljets, 21, Carrington, third runner-up; and Stephanie Erickson, 19, Fargo, fourth runner-up. Semifinalists were: Shelby Bohnenkamp, 19, Sargent County; Kyla Gradin, 20, McLean County; Jessica Magness, 26, Grand Forks; Chelsea Neubauer, 22, West Fargo; and Rachel Stearns, 22, West Fargo.
Miss North Dakota Teen USA finalists were: Jenna McKay, 17, Grafton, first runner-up; Rachel Allickson, 17, Rugby, second runner-up; Chelsey Derr, 17, Bottineau, third runner-up; and Trisha Goerts, 18, Casselton, fourth runner-up. Semifinalists were: Alicia Benz, 15, Killdeer; Tiffany Fletschock, 15, Casselton; Nora Mihalick, 18, Minot; Chenise Nesler, 18, Fargo; and Megan Yahna, 17, Larimore.
Other awards were as follows: Miss Congeniality: Rebecca Bossort, 20, Bismarck; Miss Teen Congeniality, Abigail Flaagan, 17, Tolna; Miss Photogenic: Brandi Schoenber, 24, Bismarck; Miss Teen Photogenic: Jenna McKay, 17, Grafton; People’s Choice: Jessica Magness, 20 Grand Forks; and Miss Teen People’s Choice: Tiffany Fletschock, 15, Casselton.
