The 11th District of the Minnesota State Horticulture Society held its 50th Annual Horticulture Show Aug. 6th at the Prairie Wind Middle School in Perham, Minn. It was hosted by Lady Slipper Garden Club of Perham.
The theme of the show was "Golden Oldies." Judges for the show were Linda Larson, Moorhead; Marcy Gaugert, Staples, Minn.; and Cindy McLean, Fargo. Show superintendents were Florene Culp, Audubon, Minn.; Karen Williams and Linda Ogroske, Perham; and Betty Smith, Detroit Lakes, Minn.. The Garden Club with the most overall points of the show was Lake Region of Detroit Lakes.
